Overview
Dr. Jason Kaufman is a chiropractor with over 20 years of experience. He initially co-founded a Chiropractic and Neurology practice in Scottsdale, AZ with his brother, a Neurologist. Over time, Dr. Kaufman became concerned about the risks associated with traditional cervical spine adjustments (cracking). This led him to develop his Neuromuscular Release Approach, a safer, gentle technique that uses precise thumb and finger pressure to relax tight muscles and relieve pain.
His new and unique approach to pain relief was highly effective, leading to a surge of patient referrals. However, he struggled to clearly explain the benefits and the contrast between his method and riskier modern chiropractic practices. Recognizing this messaging gap, Dr. Kaufman decided to focus on digital outreach and presence to share his unique and safer approach with a wider audience.
Challenge
Dr. Kaufman knew his new approach was unique and quite frankly over some people’s heads. Also, not to mention he had no social media presence and did not know where to start in order to get his message out to the world. With his practice residing in the Neurology building, his brand had little-to-no presence except for the referral patients that came through. After he and his brother moved to a modern new office location, he knew it was time to get the message out about what he had to offer.
Our Solution
Dr. Kaufman had seen social media videos from KSC Agency and already had seen the impact of them. What had sealed the deal is that KSC Agency was able to offer a custom package with three different solutions; SEO, our Premium Social Media package, and Video Production. These offerings would help the business reach a new audience, increase new patients, and establish the office as a luxury option in the Scottsdale area.
The Process
KSC Agency onboarded Dr. Kaufman within three weeks and had the full upcoming month’s social media calendar stacked, approved, and ready to go. Within the onboarding phase, an in-depth social media strategy was created and reviewed by Dr. Kaufman, ensuring all marketing materials were in-line with his expectations.
The SEO strategy was presented to Dr. Kaufman and immediately implemented, making sure each website page was optimized for appropriate geo-targeted keywords. After the first month of SEO and Social Media, he was given an in-depth custom built report that called out key success metrics in the campaign – which was a shock to him compared to his previous agency who did not ever go over results, metrics, and performance. After Social and SEO were kicked off, Dr. Kaufman has a full 8 hour shoot day with our video partner, gathering testimonial content, drone footage, clips of Dr. Kaufman, and scenes of the new office. Dr. Kaufman didn’t have to worry about planning everything, as the video team handled script writing, scheduling, shot lists, video strategy, and editing.
The Results
Within the first month of the Social Media campaign, Dr. Kaufman’s account saw a 404% increase in reach on Instagram. The target audience was successfully being targeted, resulting in 44 website link clicks with the first 30 days and 11 form submissions on the website. After a couple months of posting, KSC Agency was able to determine which content style performed best, resulting in 3 viral videos reaching from 10k – 18k views.
With the updated SEO strategy, the website was attracting new patients interested in Dr. Kaufman’s unique approach who were submitting forms to become a patient. With a 104% increase in organic website clicks, Dr. Kaufman was able to get in front of more local patients who needed his help.
After the month long video production process, Dr. Kaufman had a beautiful, high-quality video about his practice and method to display on his website homepage and the TV in his office waiting room.
What’s Next for Dr. Kaufman
With a foundation set on the path to rebrand and re-establish his practice as a premium center in Scottsdale, he is in the process of working with KSC Agency to design new thick-stock brochures to display in his office and at local medical partners.
